The 2003 NBA Jam Session Canadian tour started its 16-week, cross country journey in Cambridge, Ontario in June, and HP Canada’s Digital Photography Area is already one of the stars of the show. Visitors are having their digital photo taken in front of an NBA backdrop and getting it printed immediately on-site. They can also download the image at home, and print it or e-mail it to friends and family.
“Kids, parents, players and fans – NBA Jam Session offers basketball activities for people of all ages and abilities,” says Marlise Nishikihama, of HP Canada’s Imaging and Printing Group. “This event brings an NBA experience to community festivals and fairs across Canada. Visitors to our tent get a permanent record of the event, and the chance to win some fabulous prizes.”
NBA Canada expects more than 200,000 people to attend the events, which are taking place at theme parks, exhibitions, fairs, community festivals, summer camps and corporate head offices across Canada until October. The NBA Jam Session event area covers 15,000 square feet, with hoops-themed games, contests and activities to appeal to fans of all ages and abilities. Other partners include Juicy Fruit, Nintendo, Speedstick, Sprite, Reebok, Spalding, Lego and the Family Channel.
