HP Canada’s Digital Photography Booth is sure to be one of the stars of the show when the Big Comfy Couch tour begins its cross-Canada, 16 Canadian cities tour in Burlington, Ontario on Friday, September 5 at the Mapleview Centre. Visitors can have their digital photo taken in front of a Big Comfy Couch backdrop, featuring Loonette and her best friend Molly and get it printed immediately on-site.
“This tour gives kids, parents, grandparents and fans of the Big Comfy Couch television series an opportunity to see a wonderful musical performance in their hometown,” says Marlise Nishikihama, of HP Canada’s Imaging and Printing Group. “By encouraging kids to participate in the actual performance, this event is a truly entertaining and interactive experience. And the best part is, visitors to our HP Digital Photo booth take home a permanent record of the show and the chance to win some fabulous prizes.”
The Big Comfy Couch Tour is in support of Performers for Literacy, a national charitable organization committed to fostering the development of a reading culture in Canada by encouraging families to read together.
More than 70,000 people are expected to attend the shows, taking place in major shopping centres across Canada until the end of October. Admission is free and gives visitors access to a creative play area, contests and activities designed to appeal to fans of all ages and the kid in all of us. “We’re offering some great prizes,” says Marlise, “including a digital media suite that comes with a Compaq Presario PC, an HP Photosmart digital camera
