HP connects with university students in Indonesia
Hewlett-Packard Indonesia recently participated in the “Days of Law Career” event, held by the Faculty of Law, at the University of Indonesia. During this annual event, HP held a one day workshop for students and also presented a Digital Photography (DP) and Science of Printing (SoP) Exhibition. The students enthusiastically responded to the program, especially at the DP and SoP booths, which were full of participants from the faculty of law and other faculties throughout the event.
The student workshop focused on “effective career planning”, and featured Setya Rahadi, Country Human Resources Manager of HP Indonesia. The objective in holding the workshop was to share knowledge with the students about preparation for entering the workforce, the qualifications and requirements needed to apply for a job, and the situation of working competition in Indonesia.
The DP and SoP Exhibition was the first in a series of SoP Road Show events that will visit Bandung and Surabaya in addition to Jakarta. The exhibition presented HP’s DP solutions and also educates the students about the importance of using original ink.
The most popular item in the exhibition (judging by the length of the queue)was the creation of iron-on T-Shirts. HP also held a photo competition encouraging students to creatively use all the features in HP digital cameras.
