HP Technology@Work (25-27 April — ICC Berlin) marks the time and place each year for enterprise customers to address their most important business and IT issues.
The event (by invitation only) gives IT decision makers the chance to explore new ways of profiting from their investment in information technology. Several thousand HP customers and channel partners from Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) are expected to attend.
HP Technology@Work 2007 will feature insights from leaders across the industry — from HP, its enterprise partners, customer executives and other respected industry luminaries.
HP and its industry-leading partners are committed to the conference promoting innovation in the enterprise — sharing the latest in technology trends and advances, available NOW, for addressing business and IT challenges, and delivering measurable business results.
There will be keynotes from HP and partner executives, 200 business and technical breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, as well as demonstrations of the latest enterprise technology from HP.
Technology@Work will show how HP technology is helping transform companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa into new market leaders by streamlining infrastructures and shifting resources from maintenance to innovation.
Helvetia Patria Group, an international insurance group with business interests across Europe, turned to HP to create industry leading e-Insurance Solutions. HP proposed an innovative, modular approach leveraging its successful e-Banking platform.
By using the eCenter Platform, HPV has expanded distribution channels and increased profitability generating a Return on Investment (ROI) of 111% in three years; increasing on average an additional 30% each year, building to an impressive 201% ROI in year six. “Senior management felt they got value for their money with HP,” says Nick Stefania, Deputy Head of HPV’s eBusiness Center.
WGV has evolved from a small, single-product provider to one of the top low-cost insurance providers in Germany. HP has helped the company by building an end-to-end solution — ICIS (Insurance Company Information System) — to transform the insurance process.
WGV selected HP for its flexible, pay-as-you-grow architecture. With minimal up-front costs, HP’s standards-based architecture could accommodate the anticipated company growth. “ICIS has helped WGV achieve the lowest IT cost in the German Insurance Industry,” says Mr. Klaus Hackbarth, Deputy Chairman of WGV.
