HP Graphic Arts is unveiling new printers at Drupa that deliver an unprecedented combination of speed and productivity.

All eyes will be on the world premier of the HP Inkjet Web Press. This high-speed digital press prints in full color on pages up to 76.2 cm (30 inches) wide at 122 metres (400 feet) per minute. It is designed for the longer print runs traditionally done with offset printing – newspapers, books and direct marketing materials – while lowering the cost of high-volume commercial printing, both in color and black and white.

Three new HP Indigo Presses – the HP Indigo 7000, HP Indigo W7200 and HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Presses – offer faster speeds and greater productivity than current models. These machines also lower break-even costs, producing prints comparable to offset quality.

HP Indigo presses offer on-demand printing. That means the flexibility for short, fast and cost-effective print runs. Targeted marketing results in exponentially greater response rates, increasing revenue and profits by over 30%.1

Meet demand and be environmentally responsible

HP print-on-demand technology can help reduce waste, energy consumption and emissions. Last-minute revisions and corrections can be made at minimal cost reducing the production, warehousing and shipment of unsold or outdated material. This flexibility drastically cuts the waste of paper and supplies – by almost a third.2

HP customers can choose from the industry’s most extensive portfolio of large format solutions – many of them designed with the environment in mind – from roll-to-roll to hybrid to flatbed printers, from low-solvent to aqueous to revolutionary new HP Latex Printing Technologies. Innovative, new, water-based HP Latex inks provide many of the benefits of solvent-ink technology – such as outdoor durability for signage – for certain applications and markets without some of the environmental, health and safety considerations that may be encountered with solvent-ink technology.
