HP's leadership in NonStop servers was reinforced with results from Gartner's evaluation of servers (October 2003), which placed HP in the premier position of its 'Magic Quadrant' Study, identifying the company as a leader and visionary in the field.

Also reinforcing the value of HP's NonStop servers was the results of a new The Standish Group research (published March 2004) concerning total cost of ownership of NonStop servers, entitled Digging the TCO Trenches. The study demonstrated the excellent value of HP's NonStop servers when compared with other enterprise-class servers. For example, in an examination of Enterprise class servers, the study found that HP NonStop servers outshone competitors, with a yearly cost differential of nearly US$2 million in some scenarios.
'HP NonStop servers have become renowned around the world for a range of benefits, including unstoppable availability and scalability, an open application development environment, Java-based tools, and support for just about any standard on the market,' said Akihiro Saki, Director of HP Education Services, Asia Pacific and Japan.
'However, possibly one of the most significant features of HP's NonStop server solution is the commitment to supporting the technology with first class training that empowers customers' staff through a comprehensive understanding of the technology.
'When an organisation relies on this mission critical infrastructure, a customised training program that enables employees to get the most out of the technology is essential in realising the true benefits of the solution,' Saki added.
HPES provides tailored training for customers, imparting the detailed knowledge and expert instruction required to maximise the availability and efficiency of NonStop servers.
Operating out of 18 training centres around Asia Pacific, HPES courses feature experienced instructors, comprehensive student materials, state-of-the-art classroom facilities, hands-on practice and an 'on the job' focus.
