The progression from the analog to the digital age has ushered in a bevy of new processes, materials and mediums for graphic artists to use. HP’s innovative product range is part of this evolution, helping customers in marketing, publishing, commercial and industrial printing industries embrace these new technologies to develop and expand their portfolios.

“HP leads the industry in developing printing and imaging solutions our customers need to stay competitive, switch on their creative uniqueness and establish a digital difference. We create solutions our customers need, open new doors and show then new ways to grow their business and impress their customers,” said Christopher Morgan, Senior Vice President Imaging and Printing Group, HP Asia Pte Ltd.

From design to final production, HP understands the difference that fast, versatile, high-quality, non-traditional, fully customisable, on-demand and short-run prints can have on opening doors in the industry, for the smallest to largest businesses.

For Singapore-based ASP Print Consultus for example, the use of HP graphic arts technology has enabled them to expand and reposition their business – from developing photo prints, to now printing personalised photo books, short runs of brochures, invitations and name cards. Following the investment in the HP Indigo press 5000, ASP Print Consultus were able to quickly and smoothly start up a new business line which has continued to grow steadily. In the first four months alone, output grew by more than 60 percent. Companies and advertising agencies are also now turning to ASP Print Consultus for short-run, high-quality collateral which are not viable on offset printing.

“We had very high expectations when it came to quality and color accuracy, and we find the HP Indigo press 5000 delivers a realistic photo-like quality which toner-based machines cannot achieve. It’s a breeze to work with the HP Indigo press 5000 and it’s so easy to attract customers,” said Peter Chew, Marketing Director, ASP Print Consultus.

Take international photographic artist Frank Le Petit for example. When it came to creating his latest photographic installation, ‘Aerofoto’ (the first in Asia), Frank defied conventions of traditional photography and chose the HP Designjet 130nr printer to deliver accurate, consistent and true-to-life colors for his photographic sequence on a roll or fabric.

“The HP Designjet 130nr is a fantastic printer that offers me new possibilities in photographic art installations. It is also an amazing tool that helps me gain more control over the whole creative process and gets me the exact results that I desire,” said Frank Le Petit, Photographic Artist, parisydneytokyo.

At the other end of the spectrum, when Thailand display production house Q-Advertising needed to transform some of Bangkok’s most prominent buildings with gigantic building wraps for Kashikorn Bank, it utilized HP Scitex Industrial wide format printers to pull off this massive campaign.

“We knew it would not be an easy task to take, but our investment in the HP Scitex industrial wide format printers gave us the confidence to be ambitious and innovative in fulfilling our customers’ objectives,” said Churaiporn Uthaisang, co-founder of Q-Advertising.

“We came to recognize that HP delivered the speed, high quality and resolution that customers expected of their display advertisements. The professional attitude and prompt response time in the support network has provided us with the confidence and reassurance in the investments we made. No other partner can match this level of service,” he added.
